The Passion Project I chose was Community Sports. For our topic we had to think of an Idea to get the community involved with our sport and getting them active.
I learned if we all done a equal amount of work it would get it done faster and if we concentrated we would finish things easy. We all had different skills so it all combined together.
The part I liked most was teaching the year 4's how to play the game and also see how they played to see how good they played and the third group got on to the game pretty fast which that was good so we didn't need to teach them step by step.
Something I disliked was when we had to sit with them at lunch and we lost our lunch break by looking after them so we just sat outside and played some music and talked until lunch time finished.
Next time I would make sure we are sorted out before we present because some people didn't know what they were doing and Ibrahim was mumbling so they couldn't hear him so we told him to speak louder so we had to do it again after morning tea.
Overall I thought it was a pretty cool experience with people I've never worked with so it was fun and I also enjoyed working in the cubicles and also presenting because it was funny presenting and we also had a background of Jordan so we showed the class it and they laughed but I unplugged the hdmi cable before anyone could see what was on there.
Kia ora Michael!
ReplyDeleteIt seems like you had a good time working on community sport and you learned a bit about work ethic and how everyone needs to pull their weight. I am seeing though, that technology might be getting you into trouble! You always need to make sure you don't have any silly videos or songs going. I also wonder how you were able to play music during the lunch break for the younger kids? Did you make sure to pick songs that would be appropriate content for their young age?
