E.O.T.C Week - 2018
2018 E.O.T.C week . It started off at Omaka Scout Camp . When we got there it was drizzling so we had to go under the veranda and start getting into our groups . I was in group 5 with Aron , Krystal , Desharn , Zion , Michaela , Chantey , Jack and Kyra . The first activity we done was archery under some trees . When we got there we had a safety briefing about what to do and what not to do . We got into our lines and started to shoot the bow and arrow . Aron and I started ti get bitten so we decided to put on some insect repellent so it stopped us from getting bit . The next day we went to Rehua Marae in Riccarton . We had to wait outside until they called us in and we sat on the chairs . Then we listened to them explaining about the past of the marae then we sung a waiata to each other and after that happened we had a hongi . Then we sat back down and listened some more then after that we went to the museum . On Thursday it was the day everyone was looking forward to . Adrenalin Forest was the bets thing of our E.O.T.C week because we got to climb at staggering heights in some trees we also had a box of fish n chips which our group ate in 5 minutes it was Me , Adelaide , Tj , Shanix , Matthew , Daniel , Aron , Austin , Eddie and other people .

Kia ora Michael!
ReplyDeleteI really enjoyed reading your reflection about our EOTC Week. It sounds like you had a lot of fun with a good group of your mates and others who you maybe don't spend a lot of time with. I also really liked Adrenalin Forest and the yummy fish and chips. I am not surprised that you boys polished off the box in 5 minutes, you were working up an appetite climbing the trees!
