Other Mother 2. The Mother is wearing more devily clothes such as red/crimson, black and grey. There are still curves but very little the apron and the head start getting sharper and the devil shape comes in and her clothing style changes suddenly.

Other Mother 4. The body shape becomes way more sharper including her head, elbows, rear and joints she becomes very tall and she doesn't look like a human she looks like a demonic figure or something out of a horror movie. She is very skinny and she has no meat on her and she has a really long neck. She changes slowly so we start getting the picture of what shes gonna turn out to.

Other Mother 5.The spider mother is thin, spindly, skeleton metal body, and she almost has no clothes. She is made out of metal and she has no skin and her head gets pointier. There are shades of green, black, grey the colors used in the photo makes have a creepier vibe to it.the colors are dull, boring, dark and gloomy.

The director skillfully uses costume, lighting and color to create the character of the other mother. We see a gradual change in costume from conservative casual clothes to short well fitted dresses and finally nothing but rags. Her clothes also become sharper around the edges and are predominantly black highlights of red. When we first see the other mother warm lighting and use of a yellow/orange colour palette make her seem warm and inviting. However, by the end the use of dim lighting and green tones make her seem evil and frightening. These film techniques help us understand the filmas a whole because they show us the change from a kind and loving other mother to her true form of an evil spider like soul stealing demon.

Great job Mikey! I am super impressed with the way you are able to describe the mothers costume to us as it gradually changed. This is a very detailed piece of writing, you should be proud of yourself! If this was for an exam at NCEA level, you would already be ticking all the boxes! I cannot wait to see how your skills develop in this course over the coming years. Ka mau te wehi!!
