Will Maui ever return?

For writing this term we are focusing on fairy tale's which are narratives . I choose to impersonate the story of the three little pigs but I choose a Maori version to sauce it up a bit .

Kia Ora , Welcome to the tale of Manu , Tama & Maia .

In the wonderful land of the Ngati Porou Marae there is Manu the Fiercest Warrior Maui the peaceful Warrior
& Maia the In Between both warrior . When they were little kids they got interested in watching there
whanau do the haka . They always tried to join but they couldn’t do it properly so they were told to go
outside and play with there cuzzies . When they got outside the heard something behind Whare what will it
be will it be dangerous or harmless? When they went out the back it was Maui they all said “Maui” they ran
to tell there whanau that they had seen Maui so all of there whanau ran out the back and when they went out
he was gone and the kids kept saying “ I saw him , I saw him” but the parents didn’t believe them but Maui
knew he would come back and surprise the kids another time.

  1. Hi Michael!

The introduction to your story has hooked me in, I can't wait to read your cultural version of the 3 pigs, however, your work is running off the page! Can you reformat this so we can read your creative writing?
