Dear Mr Sutton

In my opinion, I think that at Hornby High School scooters should be banned at morning tea and lunchtime. I think that we should ban scooters because they are a hazard.

P1:The first point is that If you scootered to class you would have no place to put your scooters. It would be really inconsiderate to leave them in the hallway where can people can fall over them. Having scooters at school would lead to more inconvenience and issues. What would you feel if it was you that tripped up?

P2: The second reason to ban scooters in school is it might affect class time. If a kid was scootering on their scooter and they heard the bell they might not go back to class and just keep fooling around on it.Also they might get distracted. I think having scooters would be very distracting for students and mean that the teachers would get frustrated.

P3: If you were going too fast and you seen someone in the way you wouldn’t have enough time to stop. If you were going too fast you would crash into something and then you or someone else would get injured.That’s my third reason why I think that scooters go too fast and wouldn’t be able to stop.

Finally in conclusion I consider scooters should be banned at hornby high school because they are too fast dangerous and a inconvenience. I hope you have considered my thoughts after all
