Hornby Panthers v Halswell Hornets

So I started off the morning waking up at 8:00am, anxiously Waiting to vs the Hornets which are from Halswell. When I was in the shower my parents said are you going to score any tries I responded “YES SIMPLE” ,Then the said well you're going to have to go impenetrable . When it was 9:50 we left our house to go to Canterbury Park.

We had to be there at 9:55 but we just arrived at 9:52 I sprung of my legs I could to get there I was repeatedly saying to myself, There were heaps of other games playing so I just kept on sprinting till I got to the gate and kept running to my team.

I just arrived on time we started doing kicks to each other.After that we were just playing and then our coach Rosie called us over to do some fundamentals. Which were  

China Ones,China Twos ,India right/left & Fish ‘n’ Chips.

I was a little edgy because they had heaps of big players ,This kid called Reuben which was fast and good.Then our coach told the Fullback & Wings to go with the halves and go do some kicks Cole kicked it up in the air then Matthew & I tried to catch it but we crashed together and I got winded but I got back up and we continued for 10 mins…..

Games started boys go hard don’t let them win, Jeremiah ready when you are he yelled “WHO ARE WE PANTHERS!!!” we got in our kickoff position ref checked for mouth guards we were all clear we got off in our kick off position We all said “SET MOVE” We closed up on them and this prop caught it and he knocked it on the ref said knock on Hornby ball.

We started doing our plays 1st run we gave it to Lasa,Next play we gave it to Jeremiah,Next we done a china one to Levi,Next they gave it to Japhia then gave it to me.Then i stepped a few people (About 4 People) then dived in the try area for a sliding try which I slid 7 meters then my team ran up and said “Nice Try” then Jeremiah went for the kick that was a miss

.Then they kicked the ball to the second rower Japhia then he caught the ball which went low the I ran up and he passed it to me and I got away then A guy caught me then Japhia got the ball ran up the field and this boy called Jessie that was the coach’s sun nearly got his legs but Japhia jumped up in the air and jumped over him when he scored we ran up and said “Shot Japhia"
