First We Did A Limerick Poem Here Are The Rules.

Line 1, 2 and 5 rhyme and have or 8 or 9 syllables

Line 3 and 4 rhyme and have 5 or 6 syllables

Example
There once was a lady from Spain.
Who lived in a dark and gloomy drain.
She looked like a dead rat.
Who was chased by a cat.
And that cat made her go insane.


My Limerick Poem


There once was a young lady in red.
She also slept in a cozy gold bed.
She hated all things pink.
but liked the wrestler Dink.
then her cat was dead.

There once was a man with a beard.
He was a guy and was really weird
He lived beside a house.
Along came a woman with a blouse.
Then he shaved his weird beard and stared

She also liked the beverage drink beer.
She had a black cat.
They also had a mat.
Inside she had a carved metal spear.

There once was a young boy with a nose.
a lovely old lad gave him a rose.
With a blue striped yacht.
It also had a hatch.
Then he met his cool awesome bros.

He always weared a highlighted vest.
He saw a shotgun.
Then he got a cream bun.
Then he got deserted as the best.

There once was a lady in a bed.
then she was found in her bed dead.
then her mum got some gum.
then she found a crumb.
her favourite colour was also red.

There once was a deer in the back.
The deer always like to smack.
The deer was really weird.
It even had a beard.
Then the deer got a big loud hard smack.
